I was reading through my old entries and there were a few things that I said that really made me happy...reminded me of fun things and stuff:
* Froot Loops taste the best at midnight.
* Glen and I spent a good hour and a half in the tide pool trying to catch shrimp.

* I've watched Clerks twice in the past 12 hours. And therefore I've been swearing more often than usual. I like it.

I guess my last entry was in September. That seems like it was so long ago. Well I guess it was nine months ago, which is actually a substantial amount of time.

I just had the best weekend of my life. Minus Friday. It wasn't bad, but it in no way compared to tonight and last night.
Last night: Dropkick Murphy's concert was sooo much fun!! I love those concerts with all of my heart.
Tonight: Halifax Feast Dinner Theatre. Also sooo much fun!! Heads up, that's where my birthday party will be taking place this year. (:
I'm in the most amazing mood right now. It's absolutley, fantasically, wonderful. |

What I've learned so far in school
- The #10 is unreliable in the mornings and in the evenings.
- Never trust ratemyprofessor.com
- Just because there's two Tim Hortons on the way to all of your classes, you don't have to buy something.
- Don't ever forget your water bottle at home
- No matter how much preparation you put into getting organized for the morning the night before, it doesn't help
- University is fun.
Busses going to and from school are so crazy! They're ridiculous. I was on the 10 going home from school yesterday and the bus that was right behind us was another 10. I don' tknow how exactly it happened. Especially since i saw both of those busses go by the bus stop on the other side of the street while I was waiting for them to loop around. The one that got to my stop first was a good ten minutes behind the other bus (that ended up behind me on the way home) when it was going the way across the street. Strange, no? |

I know it sounds crazy and strange, but I actually don't mind being sick. Yesteday I just layed on my bed and read Vouge and Vanity Fair magaizes. All day. Then I watched Big Brother and went to bed. It was so relaxing.
And today since I'm still sick I'm going to do the same thing! But not watch Big Brother, since it's Monday. But I'm just going to read all of the articles in Vanity Fair I didn't get to yesterday. I'm going to print of a whole lot of pictures from good-bye grad, prom and graduation and then I'm going to make the best photo album / scrapbook I've ever made.
I don't even care that right now if frosh week. |

Today went by so quickly. And so awesomely too.
I egged a house for the first time ever tonight. Well, techincally I didn't actually egg it because my throw sucked really badly. But other people did. I guess I should rephrase that to "I attemped to egg a house tonight." I also watched the best funny / scary movie of all time. The Convent. It's like a techno dance party with zombies! Oh. And Glen shot a cup off of my head with a pellet gun. It was nuts.
I'm seriously thinking about finding a new job and quitting mine right now. It's driving me crazy.

Why does hair have to grow so slowly? I just want super long hair right now. None of this waiting stuff.
I need new glasses so badly. Mine right now are so scratched. But that's completely my fault since I'm always losing the case and just throwing them in my bag.
I bought an awesome book today. It's a collection of short stories. They're all so good. |

It feels like it's been forever since I've been to work. I haven't been there since Saturday. It's nuts.
I bought books for school yesterday. Yep. I only had to spend $50. I love getting gift certificates for useful places! My uncle gave them to me for graduation. Sweet sweet.
I can't believe school is next week!
I was cleaning out my desk in preparation for school and I think I found the reason why I didn't fully enjoy this summer. Well, I loved this summer. I had so much fun. It was just a different fun than I'm usually have in the summer time. (I don't know how many times I've said this the past two weeks) But anyways. I found all of my paddling medals in my desk. Next summer I have to paddle. No matter how little time I think I'm going to have, it has to be done. I missed it so much this summer. So I found my medals and I realized I didn't like this summer as much as the past three years because I feel like I haven't accomplished anything. Now, I know I have. Making new awesome friends and making enough money to pay for school, those are both great. I just don't have a medal to show for any of it. I've realized that I'm so material, but I love it. It's almost an insecurity. I need to have something such as a medal or certificate in order to feel like I've accomplished something. That's why I love medals so much. They're like little pieces of gold and silver confidence. And report cards. I love report cards. But anyways, my desk is so clean now. |
